I picked up my new ST2 Wed afternoon and going to work Thursday morning the engine went onto 3 cyl and had smoke coming out of the exhausts, was towed to the garage and was told a piston in cyl 3 had cracked, anyone else had a similar problem? Waiting to hear if i get a new engine or new car now.

New engine, turbo, intercooler, cat and wiring loom, hopefully now all ok, it's a fabulous car, i love it and that's why i had it fixed rather than wait 3 months for a new one .

Hi all,
Picked my st up last week, great car but smells like somethings burning slightly after a run, dealer says it probably just new engine parts/oils etc getting worn in? Anyone else have the same?

No smell off mine before my problems, runs like a dream now, so just need some more miles to boost my confidence in the engine again, what a car though
