The ST mats dont come with the fixing needed. God knows why but put it down to Ford logic

Ask the man at the parts desk nicely and he should rip a set out of a set of mats or a set off the shelf. Dont pay for them!!!! A bit fiddly to fix (you need 3 pairs of hands) but worth it.

No need to get so picky???

"I've had a quick check and you dont get the "robo cop" gearknob and leather gaitor with the Interior Styling pack. I'm not sure why your car came with it, perhaps to try and make you feel better for parting with £100 for an option that doesnt really exist (a bit cheeky of Ford if you ask me!)."

May I ask who you checked with??

Page 47 of the Fiesta 2006 brochure, Interior Styling Pack, doesn't mention mats??

A guy who works for a Ford Parts Department? The Interior Styling pack does include the mats. On 06 STs the Interior Styling Pack, for now, is just the mats. Sorry.

I ordered mine on sunday and asked about the interior styling pack - they said at the moment, it is just the mats, but he also said they don't do ST mats, just Fiesta mats - so thats what I'm having (free).

If you look on the car configurator now it doesn't list the interior styling pack anymore. For £100 I would ask them for the gearknob, gaitor, handbrake cover and mats. I think that would be a good styling pack to offer anyway.

LizzyG - if you want to order the ST mats (they do do them, some dealerships dont know their whatnots from their elbows! *lol*) and want to pay £50 for them (expensive but I like them) then go to the parts counter and give them any of the following FINIS (parts) codes.

BLACK WITH GREY PIPED EDGING
FINIS CODE - 1366181

BLACK WITH BLUE PIPED EDGING
FINIS CODE - 1366183

BLACK WITH RED PIPED EDGING
FINIS CODE - 1366185

maybe you should have checked what the interior styling pack was before you bought it? saved the trouble? you might has well have said to the dealer i'll have this ST with "potluck" styling especially as you were forking out 100 notes!
glad you have got it sorted now though

Has anyone one here bought the Leather Gaitor ?

I have bought one, and fitted it, and whilst it is definately an improvement, it seems to be a bit to long to me.

The length between the base and the Gear Kn0b is too long, so it does sit right, and it all flops in, in the middle. It's not tightish as you'd expect (as it is shown in the picture).

Not sure if you understand what I mean, but anyhow, has anyone else had this problem ?

Just unscrew the Kn0b, and then change the Gaiter.....sooo much easier.

Did that it was getting the top bit onto the base of the Kn0b that was the pain to do
