Oh my, I'm only seeing this thread now !!! For some reason it was not registering as new or "unvisited" for all the time it was up until today.

Scotty the writeup is great. Thanks for posting it with such a great amount of detail. Even though it's long I did not get bored one second while reading it.

As I said in another thread, it was a shame i could not make a longer stay and come to Cornwall with you all - it looks like you had a really good time there and that the place was wonderful - as expected - and I'm sorry that I did not get to spend more time with you guys at Rally Day. It would have been nice to sit around a meal together at least once.

Chris your writeup was great too, thanks for that.

Hoping to see you all again sometime before next summer.

Well, can't moan at that then.

I know it was long but from the M-sport thread it was clear that people enjoy having a really good read and something to really get their teeth into!!!

I tried to make the post flow as much as possible and keep it interesting. I think it does that job from what comments I have had back.

It was a shame you couldn't stop longer Nick but things crop up and you have to change your plans sometimes, just as I had to do with Uni on the Monday morning which was a little frustrating!!!

It was a shame we didn't get to see much of you but lets hope as you said that we can all meet up before next summer and arrange something.

Remember, if you think of any ideas then PLEASE let me know as i really do need help with things. Can be really hard work to sort things and if people can help then thats brilliant!!!

Thx for the comments Nick!!!

It is a shame that you wern't able to stay longer, I'm sure you would have enjoyed it, but no worries, I'm sure we'll see you again sometime. Like you say it was unfortunate that we didn't get to meet up before leaving rally day, but I think the weather dictated that somewhat - with how wet it got I think it just got to the stage where we had to leave and also with needing to get something to eat before setting off to Cornwall.

It was decided way back in January that we would be going to Cornwall - we wanted to go to a coastal place, especially to make a change from the previous year, and it was just a question after that as to where we would be based at which was decided on a little later.

So lets get started NOW! Where's it to be? ideas please. Mine are:-
Somewhere in Scotland, but maybe a bit cold.
Wales, nice roads.
East coast,Great Yarmouth way,
Isle Of White, Never been there myself.
And France, pushing the boat out....I will.

Scotland would be nice but after Cumbria a lil change of scene would be nice, same with Wales due to WRC. Nothing really on the IOW worth going for. East coast is quite dull (imo). France would be more expensive, more planning and a hell of alot more fun...

but... the ideas are all good and we will see what the biggest interest is as it's the members who are going and which will decide where we end up going!!! I shall just be overseeing organising it!
