I test drove the Zetec S and the ST today at the Tamworth branch.

Both are great cars - the ZS engine really surprised me - I think the engine is better than my 1.6.

The ST is in a different league. It took my breath away and I just couldn't believe how it drove and handled. Prices are costly on both. Even with a £2k deposit, I'm looking at £250 per month for the ST2 over 3 years. With the same deposit, it's around £215 for the ZS over 2 years. There's hardly anything in the difference for insurance. Strangely enough, the sales guy seemed to think I should go for the ZS and get the ST next time.

I'm torn but my heart truly lies with the ST after a side by side comparison. Just driving it really made me smile! :-)

I think that is good advice. I think if I get another ZS, I'll always be thinking "what if?". I wonder if he's pushing for the ZS as it's currently in stock and they need to get rid of it.

Does anyone know how much the parking sensors and sat nav are as extras? I think the nav is £400 but not sure about the sensors as they're not generally advertised.

I don't actually know too much about Mountune to be honest with you. What effect does it have on the performance?

RobIsTheStig, I got the ST2 in Spirit Blue, with style pack (thought I may as well as it's free) and I'm also having the parking sensors as an extra.

Mountune's products have earnt a very good reputation, it's rare they have issues with their products and when they do they bend over backwards to help solve it. I wouldn't recommend anyone else
