Saturday afternoon/ eve out sounds good to me, like Jodie I would not want to be setting off home late on Sunday as I have a hell of a week ahead of me at work that week..... So anyone who is staying in Brum Sat nite whats the thoughts on where to stop? If doing the markets the drink will most likely be involved so we don't want to be driving or laying ££' s for long taxi rides

Dave - The focus will be around Brum Centre for the Saturday so staying within walking distance of the Centre but with car parking would obviously be ideal.

On the Sunday we will go for a meal in afternoon so people can get off home early.

Jack - Would probably be a good idea just to warm up again lol.

What time are people wanting to meet up on Sat? Can arrange exact timing from there then

Probably best to park at Chester Road train station then getting the train into Birmingham. If everyone is going to stop at Travellodge Fort Dunlop we can meet up there and have a couple of designated drivers (i can volunteer) to park at the station so a few of us can have drinks.

I'm up for coming Saturday but as Jodie said, don't really want a late meal on Sunday as it'll take a while to get home and I dont want to be that late.

Meal will be early afternoon to allow people to get home. A few of you have long drives.

Really looking forwards to seeing everyone. Still more people to throw a response up

Some positive suggestions all.

Revised plan:

Saturday - Christmas Market around 2pm then drinks afterwards.
Sunday - Nandos around 12.

Thoughts?

Also, could one of you guys let me know the best parking for the city centre please?

No, I'd just suggested it to fill the time before the meal if we were having it mid-afternonn.

I can only make the afternoon meal but early afternoon isn't a problem I'll go to the German markets on the Sunday evening
