Saw a few clubs with hoodies today, keep it plain and simple, just website name and maybe a badge or two. A lot of them looked really smart.

Something that could be looked into for an affordable price?

Names on the back (forum names) ford badge front with site address???

I have one from my bike forum and it was done in a custom colour delivered £20

This is who I used, he is a sponsor on the bike forum and does work on the support races at British Superbikes. May be worth an enquiry via email > http://www.pittys.com/index.html

Sounds perfect Rob

I'd definitely have one, anyone else be interested??

I'd be happy to organise unless site staff wanted to take the lead? I know Scott has done the shirts before and has the logo reproduction permissions etc

Might be worth posting an order thread in the busiest sub forum/s; very slow this one - won't get many orders here.

First of all... we need to decide on the manufacturer of hoodies. People can either get a hoodie sent to me or I can get a selection to choose from.

Each person can select individually what they would like embroidering on.

Oh and embroidered emblem rather than sticky.
They look better and last forever. Probably cost a couple quid more is all

i had embroidered an jumper made up when i was at school, its still going strong 6 years later. Much better than transfer.

I think its best if we all get from same supplier as they will marry up better. Also, based on peoples requests, if you can get from one manufacturer a zip up hoodie and a jumper type hoodie in a range of colours then that would be ideal?

I personally would go for subtle embroidery, i.e. on the front, small font, fordfiesta.co.uk and underneath that sxkopite8.

Can we get a couple photoshop gurus on this to produce some basic designs? If we have a set design then itll be easier to organise?

I disagree totally, using transfers works fine, my bike hoodie has a small logo on the front and a massive one on the back with the forum name and they still look like new

From an advertising point of view subtle ain't gonna wk....

FRONT

ROB IS THE STIG

REAR

I can do what ever everyone wants... big/small... logo's. Sticky, embroidered (I personally prefer embroidered). I still have my France/Spain top from 2008 that I have washed more than 100 times now.

I'll get some photos if I get time tonight to give people more ideas.

Fruit Of The Loom hoodies & tshirts are very cheap on their website when bought in bulk

Rob's bike hoodie is from there, with a "sticky" transfer logo and it is still fine after many years... I know because I wear it quite often

I would be happy with either but I think embroidery might push the cost up quite a bit, but lets see what Scott can find!

My FT hoody has:

Front:

Fiestaturbo.com Events Staff
Sheriff Burman

Back:

fiestaturbo.com
Events Staff

I'd say for an FFST hoody, you'd want:

Front:

FordFiestaST.co.uk
dontpannic

Back:

FordFiestaST.co.uk

I like the embroidered better as it lasts longer than print. I had loads of dancing t-shirts that we had for training which were printed and they didn't last long.

pretty sure you get the idea of different colours. Decided to make the rear bigger and lower so its easier to read from a distance plus most of the time people will be walking around with hoods down and thus covering the url..

Like the idea of the name down the arm!!

Scotty has written permission for certain badges. The ford and ST badge are on the FFST polo shirt I have so I guess it's fine for production

Think I prefer ur designs Coop

There should be a mix of nothing like robs down the arm and coopers front and back

I've got transfers on t shirts for work had them over a year and still going strong even if they are covered in paint

Try centralising it and slightly smaller so the text won't curve with the jumper

This is how they are one the free crew ones we got when working on BGT, 2 years old now and often worn at work no fading and its just transfuse, decent quality

Sorry. I'm back from hols now. I did try logging on whilst I was away but since FB took 5 mins to load a single page it was simply impossible to access the forum.

I'll get Sarah to fish out the site bits and bobs I have already and then we can work on getting hoodies sorted.

Scotty's White T-shirt with that FFST logo is what I'm after. That size, embroidered. Subtle. No name though as people will be asking what Finalreminder means lol
Bigger ST logo though rather than Ford

Please note that the examples pictured were not on a flat surface. The pics do them no justice. The text is very small and zooming in is always going to show the stitching much larger. It's actually very good in the flesh. I'm sure people who have polo's, jackets etc can confirm this.

What needs deciding.

What items people want... T-Shirt, Hoodie, Jacket - obviously colour and size of these.

Secondly will be what logos people have on their items. All, some?

For me, it's very simple, exactly as below but with the badge incorporated into the site address.

Definitely my name on the front as pictured and down one sleeve I think looks excellent

Surely we need some sort of uniformity to these hoodies so we all look the same/similar??

That's fine Rob. We don't all gave to have the same.
You can have what you like. Not everyone's going to like identical which is the prob. I know both me and Sarah will have embroidery for sure. Just looks better quality and washes better (over many washes). The logo will have the ST bit in the middle anyway. No problems with having your name
Down the arms. A good idea

Agreed with Liam. After speaking with a few members over the weekend, everyone has different ideas of what they do and don't like. I saw a few clubs at today's Jap Show at Santa Pod with hoodies, t-shirts etc and they looked great. Come on everyone!

We need a proper format of what to specify when ordering and then put it in members area so people see it definitely sort it soon tho, be wasted otherwise

I can use all/selection of the , , , and M-sport logo but must also contain the site address...

This can be as shown, on the front chest, down the arm or at the back along the bottom for example. It must be there though.

This is all I want. Nice and simple. Large please.

Just a thought, we all want different designs and postage to different places etc. is it easier to just do individually? I could order this instantly now and job done.

It does seem that everyone wants different styles, designs. If you want something specific then I agree it would be easier to order individually.

If anyone would like to decide on a design and order along with me then let me know

Scott, just make a design and give us a price then tell us to like it or lump it. I would deffinatly stick to the colour of the hoodie matching your car tho

It obviously would be better to have the same but I'm not against people wanting their own personal, if they wish to.

I think we need to decide on what we actually want on the hoodies and then I'll knock up a few designs and we can come to a decision. Once this is decided I can get the price off the supplier.

To get this going...As far as I am aware...People want the following:

Front:

FordFiesta logo across the chest
MK6 or MK7 outline (do we want this or get rid? This would probably look good in the flesh with the site address)?
Name/Forum name down the left arm

Rear:

?

Possibly right arm for the forum name, would be able to see from drivers window. But yes few designs would be great. I have said personally i dont mind either ways.

FRONT - My Forum name and site address with logo with no Fiesta outline

REAR - Site address in big lettering with logo with no Fiesta outline

Down one arm - My Forum name in big lettering

Really simple, would look great, great advertising for the site
