Can anyone help me with this. A couple of days ago i uploaded some pics off my camera to:- Documents - My pictures, instead of the Olympus photo program that came with my camera, and all was fine.
I went through the pics, now on my hard drive, and all was ok. I deleted them after i had finished what i was doing, again all fine.
But now, each time i turn my puter on a prompt box comes up a bit like this:-

5dc:qttask.exe-No Disc
X There is no disc in the drive.Please insert a disc into drive
\Device\Harddisc 1\DR4

Cancel Try again Continue.

When i click on continue about 5 times it dissapears and everything works fine.
I'm no puter whizz, but understand a bit. Anyone got any ideas.

I just did a quick search for qttask.exe-no disc.

It's amazing what crappy programs do to your computer. Very good thinking there Kevin.

Uninstall the Quicktime program by going to My Computer, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and then going down the list and uninstalling/removing it.

I have to say quicktime is the most pants, amazingly irritating piece of media software i have ever had the displeasure of using. Does mean you cant play .mov movies but not many people use that format to be honest and there are other free players that can play them anyway so def get rid of quicktime from your system!
