Just had the ST MOT'd. Passed (thankfully!) but there were some advisories:

Power steering pipe / hose has 'seepage' (their words, not mine!)
PAS fluid low, but not below minimum
Three out of four wheel's have distorted rims

I'm not too fussed about the rims, I know how to fix them and I can't feel them when driving. The PAS issues though, I am a little more concerned about. Is it as simple as simply replacing the hose and hoping for the best? Has anyone else suffered this?

Just replace the pipe will be fine, could be the tiniest amount and just worth noting

Top it up and then check it regularly

If it does let all the fluid go obviously dont drive it...

It's flipping heavy as flip when it goes 1 of my pipes have way on my st and it was a fucker

Is it the hose that goes from the pump round to the rack? If its seeping around where the metal crip is it's not an uncommon thing, mines always has evidence of seeping around it yet i loose no fluid at all
