This is great news, very well deserved.

One step closer to a full time drive clap

Quote:
Williams’ Susie Wolff will become the first female driver in over two decades to compete in an official Grand Prix session later this year, when she takes part in two opening Friday practices for the team.

The practice outings are part of an expanded role for Wolff, as she continues as Williams’ development driver for the 2014 season, and follow her impressive performance in last year’s young drivers test at Silverstone.

This season should be so much more epic than the last two/three.

Watched RUSH last night - great film - F1 was definitely more about the drivers back then rather than DRS and KERS. Makes you think!

definitely, put these current drivers in proper cars with a clutch, manual box etc, then we'd have some racing!!!

I still think giving them a chasis to each team and say do what you can to make this the fastest is the best. Why do they keep trying to slow them down!!!

thats it Jack, we really need two seperate racing formulas.

1, the constructors championship where they can be as mental as they want to produce the best possible car.

2, a good traditional car, gear stick an all, to see who the best driver is

They had the A1 series for a while and all of the cars were identical. Think Hulkenburg raced for Germany in it for a while

There are too many aids these days (not including the sexual ones on the front wings!). DRS/Kers/PAS. At least they don't have traction control any more!!

The A1GP was decent while it lasted but it wasn't F1 and inevitably went down the pan......

what would you prefer tho? each driver being tested to the max or the cars being pushed to the limit of our available technology? I really couldnt call it
