Today iv removed all my air con what do you do with the pulley? Iv seen and heard of some people saying you can just strip the air con of the existing pulley and reuse it but how?

Iv striped it all and left with this

The pulley spins freely and seems pretty secure but I'm scared the pulley might come off cause there not a bolt threw it any more so iv put the face back on the pulley and put a bolt threw it all for piece of mind, is this what other people have done or is this wrong?

Need some help asap

I think it was something about some parts mot being up to scratch and some customers being let down. There was about 10 pages of arguments before it got locked with people that were happy and that weren't happy battling it out

I would be inclined myself to have a look for a shorter belt from a duratec without aircon.

Iv managed to sort the problem, some people just leave it open with out the plate on but i wanted piece of mind so iv bonded the plate to the pulley and then put a bolt threw the hole and put lock thread on the nut, just don't want the pulley to come off lol it will do for now until i get a smaller belt

Iv never liked the lad to be honest, he's just out to make money and sell rubbish. For example iv also said i will never buy any of his products but i was finding myself abit stuck about relating my battery so I got a battery relocation kit from him and the kit came with 50mm cable(i thought was abit excessive) junction box a few spade connectors for the cable, 2 terminals and battery tray, out of that kit i used the battery tray and had to make do with the crap junction box and the rest was just crap. before fitting it I contacted SI about the cable and he said that i would need 35mm cable and if i was to use the cable he suppled i would have to fuse it cause there would be to much power running threw it (so why send me 50mm??) i asked if he fancied fitting it for me 4 times and i got ignored but he answered my other question in-between.

So the kit i bought i ended up buying new cable, connetors, terminals and i fused the new cable for piece of mind aswell. The kit was useless. he's suppose to have tried and tested everything and nothing added up when i relocated my battery with the kit he supplied.

In the end i just don't like the lad never have and i don't think i ever will and i just hope that i don't see the lad again, rant over snigger

You would need to fuse a cable because it's too large?
Secondary the cable isn't fused as first port of call????

Man doesn't know what he's talking about

The cable, providing it's large enough won't flow more power/current then demanded.
The cable should be fused wether it was 35mm or 50mm. It runs through the cabin, areas it's not designed for! If the cable rubbed through it'll short out and easily set fire to your car.

I would never buy most of his gear, it all seems setup so wrong. The relocation pas kit No issues with. The coolers however I wouldn't buy. The pump isn't designed to flow pas fluid through a rad of that design... That's why most if not all factory coolers are a pipe with cooling fins. He attempted to tell me it was worse to double up Mountune coolers which is a free flowing pipe and say his setup was better.
