I don't envy your job removing all that.
I remember replacing my speakers I took the cards off.
While the speakers were out I did put some material throught the speaker hole and onto the inside of the door to dampen the sounds to the outside a little. I wouldn't want to take all that off though

That's a job sorting that out........

Yeah there are really at least a hundred things wich i like to do more but it needs to be done..

Stuff like this is the reason why i would sell my car... really !

But as i like the Fiesta so much i give it a try.

A few minutes later i got a nice silver door.

Then i have taken care of the window lift.


Getting it creased.

And at least i applied some rust protection wax in the door.

Thats it for today.

Tomorrow i will start to reassemble this mess.

now the rest of the car needs sound proofing

The car is Back on the road and it looks like the stupid noise has gone !
Getting the car rebuild was quite easy but installing the outer door handles was pain in the ass....
The is a small lever inside the door wich need to be pulled back with a small cable... Took me quite a while to figure it out...

ATM iam driving the car without the inner doorcards. Next i guess i will put it back together so the car should be as good as new (or better) after its coming spring detail.

Next up:
Changing the inner mirror cover...
And then some more rust protection.
Removing the front bumper to get a small accident fixed i had a few weeks ago... nothing mayor
And remove the inner arch liners for rust protection.
Also of course some detailing


The Soundproofing in the doors is really noticeable. Really happy with it. The Stereo Sounds a lot better.
But will not do more, because iám not that car hifi guy anymore.
