Just wondering what faults, if any, everyone has had with their MK7 ST's.

So far my list is as follows:

1. Heating stuck blowing hot *Fixed*
2. Cupholder lights not working (got told these never work lol) *fixed*
3. Scratch on B pillar panel *on back order should be fixed soon*
4. Blowers don't blow on screen. Once turning selector past the feet there is a clunk and stays on feet (this happened after they fixed the blowers being stuck on hot! *booked in to be fixed

No faults so far. Done nearly 7k miles, just fitted a dashcam and a niggle is the huge cover on the windscreen that stops the cam from being fitted where I wanted it, just behind the rear view mirror, so fitted it to the cover, jobs a good un.

Just an update on the car...its been back in for the 3rd time and going back in for the 4th!

3rd time: centre console panel on passenger side was sitting correctly (prob from when they repaired the interior lights)
Stereo not reading iPods correctly, could view albums or artists or any track information.

Went in, and got repaired and, once again, they cleaned the bloody car! Had a quick checks and they managed to not out any swirls into the paint.

Washed the car yesterday and noticed this...

Three paint chunks missing and a rubbish load of swirl marks in the area.

Went back to Ford, spoke to the service manager who decided "although we can't accept liability for the damage we will repaired it out of good will" which sounds like "we tried to cover it but you noticed it so we will now repair it"

So it is getting booked in for the 4th time to the body shop to have the bumper resprayed.

I wouldn't trust erdington garage with anything. I'm sure even if you asked them to top up the screenwash they would cause more damage lol

Getting close to 4,000 miles and no problems other than one half of the driver's side led scuff plate has failed. The car feels better than when I bought it now that everything has settled in a bit.

So after 2 re sprays done by Ford because they done a crap job on the first attempt, and them washing the whole car twice even though instructed not too, they have agreed to pay the £414 quid bill for it to be redetailed at Midlands car care! Should pick the car up today and it will be in full working order with no faults! It's only took 4 months buttrock

I know! So frustrating. When I confronted the Paint repair manager about how they managed to do such a crap job on the respray and how they managed to turn my dust caps white he said that the cleaning is done by sub contractors!

As I drove down the bottom to turn around I noticed these sub contractors cleaning the top of the car with a window brush connected to a hose!

Yep, useless. Hopefully get my car back today. Should of been yesterday but the paint reacted on one of the wheels so it has had to be restripped and re done.

Nothing but problems with this car haha.
