Fitp is more social related,i have always liked that show and a good way to get to know the new members that come, and the people that put this show on barely make any money out of it and most go to charity unlike ford fair etc so i will be going

If it is definitely on then I'll organise a stand again. Tbh with it being the same week as BHP I'll probably only be doing FITP as it would be a bit much doing an 850 mile round trip and then another 600 mile round trip a few days later. The residents of Ellington will be disappointed at getting their peace disturbed once again. snigger

I agree... much more time to talk to people. At Silverstone everyone disperses and don't get time to talk much.

Have to weigh things up. Think i'm more driven to BHP but may still go FITP too... have to see.

I'll be doing both due to location but if you're looking off a show with a bit of variety, including track action, then the BHP Show caters for that.

I think as a club it's important that if there's the interest and it's feasible, then you apply for a stand at both shows to offer members the choice. Lee would be happy to organise the BHP Show again.

It is, but the first passenger is still free, it's only any passengers beyond that that they're charging for.

Tickets arrived today. happy

Couple of things...

Everyone need to rember to bring a pen with them as you need to write your registration number on your pass. Also, if you're bringing passengers with you then you'll need to let me know when we hand the tickets out as everyone need to wear a wristband at the show. thumbs

After having a word with work today, I might be coming down in one of our demonstrators... The only issue is that it is snickered up with our dealer name over every panel...

I wouldn't worry too much, at least you can get your car on the stand then. thumbs

Washed mine this morning then started raining ( for a change ) so sat it in the garage and dried it off.

Had a great time again guys. Sorry I had to shoot off early, but needed to help Scott get everything packed for his house move and only got the van taken back about nine tonight. Hope to see you all again later in the year. thumbs

Shame you all had to leave so early but that stuff comes first thumbs Was good to see you all.

I think it was just lee i mentioned this to whilst at the show, but not long after we parked up i heard what sounded like a car crash, thinking nothing of it until i left and whilst looking left at the junction there was a car with a front end smashed in a bit further along the road, did anyone see it?

A few photos i took

Finally this was the car of the show for me, couldn't get enough of it. 3100miles from new and on its original owner.
Found out today the owner only lives down the road so no doubt as why it wasn't as far for them to travel!

I heard that too Jack and like you, I thought nothing of it. There definitely was a red car to the left of the exit when we left though that looked a little worse for wear...

On another note, did anyone manage to get a pic of the Mondeo by any chance? My boss wanted me to get some pics of it but I totally forgot to lol.
