Whats the best way to stop this? Drilled and grooved discs or better pads.

Dont brake so harshly and slow ur driving down a bit......??

It was only a country lane blast last night, few little taps on the brakes etc and they were gone!

I know! Was a little and often on the brakes which probably didnt help but they shouldnt have over heated that quickly

definitely better pads Jack thumbs its really noticeable wen you put better pads on

Standard Ford discs and pads will last longer than a bit of braking on a B road.

I'm using Pagid discs and Pagid pads on mine, survived 15,000 miles of mixed road driving, two Lydden hill track sessions, 3 laps of the 'ring with no fade, excessive wear etc.

Try replacing the pads first, and adjusting driving style lol
