Petrol is single biggest cost. Me and my mates make a tour out of it so we stop at several places nornally and have a couple nights out but obviously you can cut that out and just go straight to the ring and back to save money.

I would put it in this order:

Petrol £250
Laptime (9 laps) £165
Accommodation £140
Euro tunnel £110
Breakdown cover £50
Food (depends on eating in/out/quantity)

Thats roughly what I spend when going in total for 2 people.

Can cut most of this down too. More people = less money.

also if you collect tesco points you can treble what you have and get money off the train crossing, we paid £15 for our crossing last year and £35 this year

Plenty of ways to make it a cheap trip.

Hence why i said there is no reason for people not to be able to get there thumbs

The 328 only has two seats now though lol To be fair, accommodation can still be cut down, thouse houses work out pretty good value for money when there are 4 of you!

Well essentially it cost me £605 as Lee's jacket was £95...

Any trip abroad using our cars will be expensive, that fact cannot be ignored! We spent 200 Euros for 8 laps, £158 on accommodation, over £100 for the Euro Tunnel (which was booked well in advance)... The list goes on. We did eat out twice, although chose cheaper options, and visited the museum.

Considering most people spend about £800+, I think we did very well.

It really is what you make it. I will always try and keep the costs down where possible. The larger the group, the better the savings potentially. Dan did indeed alert me to the Tesco Clubcard savings, which is now why we have converted to Tesco from Asda!!!

its very similar to what it cost me and Thomas to come over to the UK everytime

Accomodation - Usually around £100
Fuel - At least 3 tanks @£70 each so £210
Ferry/Chunnel - about £100 (Ferry is usually cheaper than the tunnel)
Food/eating out
Show tickets

I never bothered with breakdown recovery, didnt even have that in NL and of course the cost of the laps is not there but it was easily £500 minimum each time
