So, it's been announced, JB is to retire at the end of this season Can't say I blame him tbh, a poor season in a poor car, losing his Dad etc etc Could be a crap year next year for the Brits, JB gone and I can't see Chilton having a drive or even a team the way things are going........!!

is JB not going to USA racing ?
shame about these smaller budget teams going down the pan, for me I like to see every car that finishes get a point, so last gets one point, presently you can be last or not finish and get nowt !

The 2 points that Marussia have scored this season equate to £40million in prize money, unless they fold completely that is.....

At 6pm last night JB tweeted himself that there is no news *he can share* on his future yet. McLaren have four drivers lined up for next season so nobody really knows what's going on yet. It may well be that he does retire but there's hope yet. The bit between the *'s is interesting. Could he be in discussions or signed a deal somewhere else that he can't confirm yet?

Not seen the race as I was racing myself (see members) but Lewis needs 2nd in Abu Dhabi for the title, without double points he'd only need 6th. At least Rosberg just has to go for the win and see what happens

I only caught a bit of the highlights but heard the podium interviews were quite bad and I can see why with questions like that! Absolutely awful. Martin Brundle does an OK job of them, everyone else is just pathetic really. Nelson Piquet totally fucked it up, god knows what he was sniffing before going up there. They're supposed to be - Race Winner, 2nd place, 3rd place, then back to the race winner, this time it was - brief word with the winner, hit on 2nd places girlfriend, spend the majority of time speaking to 3rd place, then back to 2nd place to actually ask a sort of relevant question. Rosberg wasn't happy - you could see him mouth 'f**king pr*ck' or 'f**king piquet' as he picked up his hat and bottle of champagne from the podium. Embarassing, really.
