Well from what people are saying about the oil burner is that it will out sell the petrol but I'm not so sure, auto express have done a good test on it and it really does seem a good one

The facelift looks great - the relocation of the front number plate is such a simple change but by far the one with the most impact.

RE: diesel - You just can't beat the power delivery of a modern diesel, it's all in the torque. I definitely approve of the decision to make a diesel version, and I definitely approve of the decision to continue making an estate version. Obviously the combinations which will sell more units are petrol hatches and diesel estates. If you think about it, they have to cover more bases otherwise they're losing out on sales.

Ford have offered all Focus ST's in Estate form, they were never very popular - I wonder if lack of diesel option put people off...

Currently if you want a sporty diesel estate you're looking at a small, expensive range from the top German manufacturers. Ford are just looking to open that market up a bit. Bring it on.

Having driven both, I can definitely say that there is no substitute for the petrol version! The diesel is a brilliant car but doesn't gove you the same feeling as the petrol does. The new SYNC 2 units aren't too bad though. Also, the 19" wheels as shown in the pic are available on the ST-2 and ST-3 as part of the style pack.
