What a fantastic machine polisher!!!

DAS6 pro plus, Hex logic pads and Chemical Guys V range thumbs

There was very little correction needed on my bonnet so light pads & compounds were used with brilliant results

Just bought one of the cheaper version, as a kit with some pads and menzerna polish for just over £100

I know the pad and polish combo for the hardness of paint is quite important, I did once read menzerna polish is good for a medium hardness paint like fords have, but they recommended different pads so I might have to get some softer ones.

...I'll experiment on the bonnet first, as it needs a respray anyway so won't matter if I ruin it

I have had one for a good few years now and has never let me down I would recommend the sonus sfx pads, not to harsh on paint,but they are popular so when they have them in stock by them

exactly yeah, the Sonus were recommended.
I had a feel of the 3 pads that came with the kit and they seem ok apart from the white compounding pad which is rock hard, can't see that one ever getting used
