my fiesta is losing coolant i toped it up 2months ago and its on min already the cap is real hard to undo and do up could it be cross threaded? anyone else having to top up regularly?

Mine usually sits in between max and min.
If I top it up to max it just goes back to the same place and stays there.

Just keep an eye on it do visual check under the bonnet for a couple of days

just had a remap and milltek cat back exhaust was loosing minimal coolant before hand i toped it up last friday and i checked it again today and its just under the max line so it doesn't decrease much but i have a slight sweet smell from my exhaust i never noticed this on my previous standard exhaust

I would be getting that booked in just to be on the safe side

all done now bud i had a split in one of the pipes at the back of the engine took it back to fords they done a pressure test and replaced the leaking parts for free under warranty!

That's brilliant news. Exactly what i was going to to suggest you check. It's the same on the focus for the pipe behind the engine.
