A hot topic at the moment. Fiesta ST200 (197bhp).

Do we like it? Do we think it's got enough changes to make us want it?

Personally I really like it... I do think though that if it is £22k i'm not sure I'd be steered towards the Focus st 2 knowing you get much more car for your money. A little more cash and you could get yourself a Focus st 3.

Ford will launch its most powerful production Fiesta at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. The Fiesta ST200 is expected to start from £20,000 when it arrives in the summer, with more power, faster 0-62mph acceleration and an exclusive Storm Grey exterior.

The Fiesta ST’s 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine has been tweaked to deliver an additional 15PS and 30Nm of torque over the standard 182PS ST, while the final drive ratio has been shortened to improve power delivery. As a result the Fiesta ST200 will cover 0-62mph 6.7 seconds - 0.2 seconds quicker than before - while top speed has been increased by 4mph to 143mph.

Technically speaking, the ST200 should be billed the 197PS, but Ford has decided to round up the numbers to give its critically acclaimed hot hatch a catchier title. Ford hasn't released any economy figures, but the ST200 shouldn't deviate too far from the standard ST's 138g/km of CO2 and 47.9mpg.

As well as more power, the potent little Ford also gets an exclusive Storm Grey paint scheme, 17-inch alloy wheels and red painted brake callipers. Inside the special edition Fiesta gets partial leather Charcoal Recaro front seats, ST200 illuminated scuff plates and branded seatbelts with silver detailing.

Dislike - colour, wheels and badges

Like - Seats, shorter final drive ratio and the fact you can get a reverse camera (not that I would use it but a lot of ST drivers cant seem to reverse)

400 to the UK, 500 made in total..

Im happy with my 16 plate ST3 with the MP215kit for 5k less

They could have done more for the money, sounds ok but maybe not worth the extra.
The different final drive ratio is an interesting one.

For me as a last run like with the MK6 Fiesta ST500, this Fiesta ST200 should have the MR230 kit with the Helical LSD!! Maybe even the roll restrictor too as standard. Wheel trap in the ST that I have found is nasty and with the Powerflex bushes it never happens.

I like the contrasting on the wheels..though I don’t think it needs it!

My local dealer informed me that the ST is getting Brembo 4 pots as an upgrade soon! So I would of thought this ST200 version would have been part of that.

I like it but £22k is too much for a Fez, I a sure they will be snapped up and some lined up on the show stands this summer. Maybe they will land in 2nd hand land in a few years at good prices.

Agree with some of the comments on here. It is very good, but a little pricey, putting it closer to the price tag of the lower end Focus ST's... which is the argument always used as why they won't bring out another Fiesta rs upset

Alot are moaning,Ford have already said that if you don't pay the full price then get lost, no discount or Ford ticket and only a couple are allocated to each dealer

Thing is... Ford know that, as a limited edition, there will be enough people willing to pay the full whack so they don't need to offer any discounts.

No one who already gets a discount is going to order one of these that's for sure.
