Alright lads/ladies, just joined the forum as I picked up an ST150 the weekend!
Just asking for a few tips...
What performance package shall I start off with, I will use Pumaspeed as my local garage.
Also if there is any near by ST owners, I wouldn't mind meeting showing off the cars etc or if there is organised meets let me know

hi and welcome most of the mods are really just bolt on stuff so if your good with tools most can be done yourself,i would go dreamscience for a custom map

Essential mods really are induction kit, exhaust flexi pipe, and lowering springs, all fairly easy to do but won't cost much if you did have to go to a garage. A full exhaust is a nice-to-have too.

I'm fairly nearby in the northwest, around gr Manchester often, wouldn't mind meeting up or having a drive around.

Most people on here with the ST150 have gone for the Mountune 200 package. It isn't cheap but it is brilliant and fully tested. Most would recommend this i'm sure.

Trouble with that is Mountune don't offer it any more and only made a limited number of the inlet manifold castings.

Yes they were expensive and even more expensive second hand

I wouldn't have said most people, I think there were only 3 or 4 genuine MR200's here. Most were on the 165 or 185 packs I think.

Yes sorry my bad. The 185 was the one i meant. The 200 needed the rocking horse inlet.

yes MP165 and MP185 still available, I do miss my MP185 (not the mpg which was awful) but the way it was really quiet low down yet opened up it howled off and away, you just had to wait a bit longer, whereas now my MR200 can be very quiet but will growl and pull hard whenever I prod the pedal
