Good stuff, got my 11 year one this time round.

They must have been really picky at the place I went to last time, they gave me an advisory for noisy exhaust (milltek non-res)

I had this also. An advisory for having a noisy exhaust, no advisory for about three years, and then failed on it because apparently "the regs have changed and if it's louder than standard it's an automatic fail" - which I later found out was wrong - and had to bring the standard exhaust through for them to switch over. I've gone to another garage since, and always left the standard one in the boot, but never had any comments put down about it. happy

Don't think I've ever had an advisory or even a mention for the exhaust. On my most recent MOT I didn't even get an advisory for no rear seats. Used to on the Saxo.

It depends how picky they are Nick. Going back a few years earlier, when I picked my car up from the garage, when I got in the car I found they'd gone to the trouble of giving my an official failure notice (which they didn't tell me about) on the MOT for having an air freshener hung round the mirror. They'd "resolved" this problem by chucking it in the passeneger footwell.
