I tried disabling it by pulling the two fuses but the car threw a slight fit and said "engine failure" on the dash when I turned the ignition on. Car still started but felt dodgy running it like that and I'd be worried it could trigger limp mode or something
If you want to disable the ABS for a single track session or track day (but what's the point)
For an occasional track car (like mine), no abs means you can practice braking at the limit of grip, which means more fun and possibly better braking if you get the threshold braking right. I don't like the pedal feel when abs kicks in either. Also I was doing an event at the weekend that required stopping at a line and on one occasion I just sailed right over the line with the tyres hardly squealing even though my foot was hard on the brakes, I'm pretty sure I could have done better without the abs.
