Hi Guys,

I have recently upgraded from my mk6 ST to the mk7 ST and havent looked back

I have booked in for the mp215 kit in a few day days aswell

A few issues I would like to ask if this is normal and if other peoples STs do it,

First issue: strange knock on idle, only happens on idle gets more noticable when warm and longr it idles, tiny bit of throttle and it goes, doesn't change under load (ac on) doesn't change under clutch press/depress, just an intermittent knock, these are 2 youtube videos of the same knock with no rhythm, no real answer as to what it is? i just want to hear the words the noise is this and its normal

issue 2: my brakes squeak at low speed braking (my mk6 squealed like a bitch when i fitted the Ferrodo DS2500s as they are a hard comound, im assuming the mk7 has hard compound sporty pads which is why the low speed squeak just want to check other peoples are aswell?

issue 3: handbrake feels abit rubbish, have to pull the handbrake right up (bashing my elbow on the armrest) to hold, do these have a high handbrake or is there an adjustment like in the mk6 somewhere which needs doing

issue 4: gear change from 1st to 2nd feels abit sloppy and long, rest of the gears feel fine, just going from 1st to 2nd doesn't feel very smooth (this driving at normal conditions not spirited driving)
