While I've been off work I have started it everyday and been fine. Didn't start it yesterday so this morning being day 2, it turned over with plenty of battery power but took too long to actually fire up and engine mangagement put it into limp mode. So it fired but in limp.
Do not know if this is same issue or another as my last one, back then it didn't even turn over just limp mode.
Wondering is something like starter motor, it is 10 years old. Something not letting it fire up.
I used my autel code reader and it had:-

P0607 - control module performance
P2107- throttle actuator control module processor
P2110 - throttle actuator control system forced limited RPM

guessing that last one is just a result of limp mode.

FWIW when I had starter motor issues it never threw any error codes, it just clunked and never span. It sounds like you've got some really odd electrical gremlins there somewhere, perhaps dodgy earth, or a failed battery cell (battery giving good voltage, but a dodgy cell can cause all sorts of issues).

Is the battery original?

new battery from when I had the same limp issue last time to rule that out.

I have a brand new 60mm TB on way arriving next day or so, got this really cheap from another MR200 owner, going to swap mine and see if problem persists this will help rule the TB (or the actuator on it) out entirely even though it is a new one from the last issue as well !

Weird... hopefully that's the end of it. I hate electrical gremlins.

Have you thought about an aftermarket ECU? The money you've spent so far would've bought you a top class ECU, which you yield even more power for sure.

yes have thought of that it is an option and likely cheaper than a Ford one, I do have a local live mapping company near me as well who have a good reputation, whether they could remap it as good and as much bhp as Mountune would be the question and of course my car would no longer be officially Mountune MR200. I think a live mapping is around £300 and an aftermarket ECU might start around £600 so am getting close to price of a Ford ECU. A decent and recommended SCS Delta aftermarket replacement for the ST150 is £1200 about same as a Ford ECU.

In that state of tune there is power to be made with a standalone ECU, time to upgrade?
