Hi,

after i finally sold my beloved Fiesta to a great guy who just detailing crazy like me i tried to reserve a RS wich i liked at the dealership....
Sadly the car was already sold, but the guys told me they got more cars incoming. So short after this little problem my new RS was secured for me

3 Weeks later (longest weeks ever) the car arrived at the dealership.

Last Friday was collection day


Sure i was prepared, Some colourmatching towels, LED Lenser for paint inspection, waterless wash and some Paintprotection in my trusty rupes bag.




Thats how the RS looked after applying some paint protection to the front. I didnt cover the whole car. Because i wanted to drive



After an annoying ride back home approx 160 miles on full Autobahn and construction sites every few miles i checked if i can park him in our driveway...
And he does it like a true fast ford with one leg up in the air like the little fiesta


Next day:



Replaced the stock airfilter with a kn one. Then visited a good friend of mine at his detailing store






No hate for vauxhal aka Opel



Then i went to my wash are to get it cleaned auf the first 350miles




The first dead bodys but nothing major

Front perlte ganz gut dank Prima Hydromax

Just gave it a quick wash and some quickwax.

In the sund this colour is insane




I love it!

And it drives.... I cant describe how much fun this is!

Got some RS Badges from DmB for the engine bay und a short shifter on its way.

I hadn't noticed the little moulding on the side of the rear spoiler before - nice touch by Ford.

Very nice, looks a lot like mine except the wheels which we can't get in that colour over here.

Definitely needs paint protection, I have a few chips at the front already

Yesterday i installed a short shifter
Feels good now.

Today i put the RS Badges in the engine bay. So no major changes actually planned.
Will enjoy the car as much as i can this long weekend

The Mk3 RS is a fantastic motor! I was in two minds in getting one myself but decided not to in the end.

Keep the photos coming though! I've not seen the standard wheels in Anthracite before. In the UK they are all silver.

This day we started in the austrian alps so gave him a quick wash and some CarPro Reload

After some beating at the Autobahn the tips changed their colour to gold

No spare wheel in the RS ?

Sadly no just a repair kit but the hole was to big for it.

There isn't in the Mk1 RS either Steve. I bought an ST170 space saver which fits the hole in the boot... however the brakes on the front wheels are too big for it so if I ever had a puncture on the front I'd have to put the space saver on the back and then swap the proper one from the back onto the front.
