I would think that you should not even need to use the "protect no claims" really since you were rear-ended. I thought it was pretty much always the fault of the person driving behind you and that he/she did not keep their distance.

I'm from a town called Neuchatel which is about 45 mintues from Bern.

My insurance company have said 99.9% of rear end claims go against the person driving behind you although she is trying to blame me now so, I guess i will have to claim for whiplash aswell now!!

Nick are you actually swiss? I know quite a few swiss guys and their English is nowhere near your standard. I worked alot in Lenzburg last year and its started abit of a love affair with Switzerland for me now.

I was born in Switzerland but I'm actually German, although I've never lived in Germany nor do I speak the language. I learned English in an British school in France many years ago and the fact that I now work in an English speaking environment probably helps to keep it up, but thanks for the comment...

Were you in Lenzburg, canton Aargau? Yeah I like Switzerland as a place to live. I've spent most of my life in France but I enjoy being back here now, even though I'm nowhere near the place I used to live in as a child.

Nick please excuse my ignorance but does canton Aargau cover a large area? I was staying in Lenzburg but working in Wohlen if that helps? Have to say I loved Lucerne, a beautiful place.

I wish my german was as good as your English but sadly it's not!

Canton Aargau is relatively large for switzerland and is located about 30 minutes west of Zurich.

Agree about Luzern, it's a beautiful town indeed.

Well your German is probably better than mine if you lived in the german part of Switzerland...
