Have an odd issue started on the Fiesta since yesterday morning.

Start the car and it idles up to 2000rpm for a few seconds then jumps down to normal - Now when I go into first and pull away its fine until I dip the clutch and the revs rise again a lot.

It will do this for five minutes but if I sit and just let the car idle for a 5 minutes its not as bad or not there at all when I begin driving.

Anyone have any thoughts?

likely need to clean the throttle body, both sides of the flap, use carb cleaner and don't disturb the flap in it's position.
