A little late to the party.

I have a 57 plate fiesta st.

Like most, the Mirrors don't seem to be working correctly. I first thought it was a fuse so have changed it and can now adjust the mirror glass using the electronic switch however they do not fold in or out when I lock the car.

When I press the mirror switch down I can hear a single click when I'm in 5h3 car.

Does anyone know what the issue could be and how to fix it?

So I have an update.

I have 2 old powerfold mirrors from when I bought the car from the previous owner.

I plugged both of these back in and the drivers mirror works perfectly, I can adjust the glass angle and fold them in using the switch and upon lock however the passenger mirror will still not fold in but the glass can be adjusted.

Even more confused now than before.

Further update, I plugged the fully working mirror into the passenger side and then it works fully including folding in. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think both passenger mirrors may have dodgy folding motors?

Many years ago I had mine done under warranty, from what I remember you can’t buy the parts to fix but they will sell you a complete unit, from my memory they was about £170 each not sure if Ford still sell them, again from memory there are a few YouTube vids on how to fix the guts of the unit
