Even the Mini Cooper is fast around the track.... its the same chassis as the S, just not as much grunt. The ST should be slightly faster, but not by much. On the track its all about handling rather than all out power... hence why the fiesta isn't much slower round the track than the focus

did i miss something in todays issue of autocar, i thought the fiesta
was in this weeks issue up against opposition, i looked though
but to no avail, i even took a second flick through.was it autocar,
was it this weeks issue, or did they put some other test in instead.

Its been moved to next weeks issue now, bit annoying really, was looking forward to seeing the ST woop em!!

Yea they have moved it from this weeks to next weeks.I bought it today and nothing regarding the test between the ST,Mini and the 207 i thought i must be seeing things from last weeks mag then at the bottom it says it's in next weeks.I was looking forward to that !!

Lets hope it is next week's then and it isn't just a ploy to get us owners to get it every week in the hope that it will actually be in!!
