Yep especially as a friend of mine crashed his ST on the A14 the other day after skidding in some black ice or something and rear ending someone at 20mph.

Black ice? or something?

This has soooo anoyed me over the years Ayesha.

THE COUNCILS JOB IS TO SECURE ITS RESIDENTS, OR THOSE WHO PASS THROUGH THEIR CONSTITUENY ON THE ROADS.

That does'nt mean MORE SPEED CAMERAS, it means....BETTER ROAD SURFACES AND MAINTENANCE TO THEM!!!!!!

I hope your friend is o.k.

But where does the money come from by looking after people!!

Sorry, i'm getting on my high horse now, so will leave it at that.

Take care in the snow everyone (if we get some). But i will have some fun in it.

New front bumper, bonnet might have a few dents, new bonnet stripes, upper & lower slam panels damaged, front wing, new headlight and horn. He turned in towards the crash barrier to minimise the damage to the car. Well he said it was ice "or something".

What do you think Ayesha? Your friend, so you know he or she.

All that damage at 20mph.

Entirely possible. Afterall the worst looking bits are the thin bits that are supposed to break in a crash. I rear ended a BMW in my old Fiat Uno once in slippery conditions (he slammed on mid roundabout & I didnt have a chance). He had a small crease in the rear bumper but my Uno had a broken headlight, smashed indicator lens, the bracket the headlight sat in was bent and a clip holding the corner of the bumper broke. This was all at no more than 5-10mph.

Yes could be real bad out there today, just take care.

Yup, I know that you can get quite a bit of damage done even at 5mph.
