the insurance is in my name, i have 4 years no claims cos did 2 years with norwich union rapid bonus (10months for price of 12 months). i pay an extra £50 for my dad as a named driver. without him it would be even cheaper maybe because i live in scarborough helps too? xx

Is your excess really high? the area i live in is classed as a very good area but mine is much more than yours. i did a quote with tesco that came out at more than im paying with direct line!

try tesco-value. it means you dont get a courtesy car and your excess is slightly more. i hardly use mine so didnt feel the need for the courtesy car, plus im with the RAC
