*waaaaahhhh* I have only just got a build date for my car of 5th March!! Wtf?? I ordered the pigging thing in January!

I ordered mine a few days after you Chris on 24th Jan My salesman guy said he tried to get one but they were taken by other dealers. He mentioned some place where they are all kept and said there werent any. He also said how he'd searched something VISTA (I think??) and there just werent any... This is stupid..

That sucks!
It seems strange that theres such a gap between yours and mines build date though don't you think? I don't know exactly how it works though

That is outrageous. Bearing in mind that it will take 6-8weeks for the car to turn up after that I would go and threaten to cancel the order unless they make it worth your while - I mean that seriously. Phyzzo threatened to cancel his and he got some concessions.

If you got it in May that'd only be a few months before the Focus ST becomes available which on the scheme will only be a bit more. That is if the Focus floats your boat which it doesn't for all.

I could have had mine early March, with the new plate fitted, if I didn't have the reflex pack added, instead of the 19th March delivery date i've got. But it does give me another months wages to save up, every little helps and all that...

I assume it depends on what colour and whether you are having stripes or not as to how long it will take? I am having performance blue, no stripes and the dealer has the car already, just not registering it until begining of March.

Whaaaat? Are you serious Hugh?? It could take 6-8 weeks after the build date for it to turn up?? Wtf? That's just rude!! Yes I might have a serious word with my dealership...

I'm afraid so, the very quickest it will make it over here in is 4-5weeks and that's if you're well lucky.
