Don't be scared of getting lost, wherever you are in the South of England just head towards any Motorway heading North.

If you are thinking of coming over we can sort out a meeting point nearer the time.

By the way i've now got to grips with my new Sat Nav, it's easy, press the petrol station key, when you get there, you just ask for directions. .

Lol Kev, that's a great plan when the nearest petrol station is 40miles away cross the yorkshire dales, sending us through dead ends, fords and offroading

Quote:

Well it sounds like we have a plan then. Maybe I should lead the convoy because at least then I wont get left behind Newquay style!

This is shaping up to be a great meet. Will you be camping Kev/Tony whoever else?

LOL Stu, atleast then we know we will be able to brake slowly enough for your sponge brake pads

I'll definitely be camping.

I'll be camping too:

Reason:

  • I cannot afford to stop in a nice warm which I won't get wet.
  • I think camping is a right laugh when everything goes badly... remember it much more then... teamwork is also great

If you wanted to come over then i'll make sure you have directions so you won't get lost... you would be passing me on the way, which ever motorway you went on so you could join the convoy then

I'm looking forwards to it all

Cant wait for the meet dont know whether I can stick it camping tho might have to book into a hotel or b&b will see closer to the time if the weather is only mild then ill consider camping! As for the convoy I need to go in the middle coz you all got faster cars than me and I dont want to be left behind lol

Yes but Stu might be able to go faster but he will need to start braking a couple of miles before we pull off the motorway to stop, bit like an oil tanker. So you'll be able to catch up

Lol just brought memories back of going down to Newquay when I needed to pull off the motorway for petrol. Thought I'd gave everyone plenty of warning, but they all had to sharply stop to avoid sailing right past!!

Hopefully you will be able to get off work and join us on Friday (that Friday is Good Friday by the way, just to note). If not then no worries mate, we'll see you on the Saturday sometime. That goes for everyone btw - anyone who for whatever reason can't be there for the whole weekend is more than welcome to join us for however long they can stay for.

I don't think you had much choice since you was matching us all for straight line speed and then when a corner came you ended up like a snail

I must note: Stuart is a very good driver and there is no problem with how he takes covers, it's all Seats fault for opting for optional brakes

Thats good news that it's Good Friday... no idea why but it sounds good

The traffic will be quite bad this day though if memory recall's. We could do with trying to head off really early Friday morning before sun rises and make use of the empty roads and the whole day!!!

I love driving in convoy when the sun rises, gives me a sense of adventure, venturing into the unknown.

Also... I shall be driving up also Matt so there will be an odd silver focus in the middle of the 3 white s... you can pretend it's a white though as that's what i ordered

There should also be Micky in his silver zetec s with black stripes, stu in his black leon and maybe cassie and others.

I'm looking forwards to going into Yorkshire and it would be great to make use of the Yorkshire members local knowledge of the area and for them to show us around

It's going to be great. I really hope more people decide to come visit the FordFiestaST roadshow around the UK... next visiting Yorkshire

Maybe the summer we will be leaving the UK and entering European territory!!!
