I'm with you on this one! I've got no ESP and I do get quite a lot of wheelspin when on damp roads and putting the power on (pulling away and cornering). It doesn't take much for the inside wheel to start spinning on a corner and the car still maintains a good line and gives you enough time to ease off or correct your line.
You're only too fast for a corner when you don't make it to the other side
