Went into get my GEM unit & sounder swapped on Friday the parts having been on order since December in addition when it went in before Christmas they knew the Bluetooth was not working......when I went to pick the car up I check all was working including both keys, auto wipers etc and found the Bluetooth was still not right. B4 it went in it would do nothing & now it will pair with a phone but when you press the voice button nothing!

Went back into the service bit & they sent a supervisor out as all the techs had all gone home and he agreed it was not right so got me to book it back in. It’s not due to go back till Jan 30th as that’s the earliest they could get a courtesy car for me.

I am off work this Friday so am going to ring and ask to speak to a senior tech on Monday as I am sure they will need to do a diog then order yet more parts...maybe a new headunit or bluetooth I am thinking so if I go in Friday and wait while they do the diog maybe they can get what they need to repair it for the 30th....anyone had this problem and had it fixed? If so what did they change?

Well after the 4th visit they have fixed it horary!!! after having the new GEM unit to sort the alarm and light flicker it went back for 2 days but somehow they failed to order the parts in time so had to go back today and has had a new storage module put in.......also in the drawn out fix my clutch pedal started to creak and was "reworked" and now does not creak.....

Well maybe not... mine squeaked quite a bit after I'd first got it. They sorted it out with a bit of grease when I took it in for the 1500 mile check (might have been WD40 didn't really care what), and 17000 miles later its still fine.

I belive its meant to get some bush bit that was taken out by the cost saving lot that saves Ford 3p per car to build then cost £100 to fix after....but not sure if thats what they did......not really too bothered what they did so long as it does not creak & it works for changing gear
