i know this might be the wrong forum to be asking on but do u think i hav the right choice of car? ive thought about it for ages and it seems the right decicion to make . il be buying one in the next 1-2weeks so i need to know some of u guys opinions. if it was u would u use ur st for a track weapon? or would u use something else? im very curious

that really is your choice i mean to say myself i only use it daily for work and pleasure and its a drivers car i sometimes drive it hard and push it i get a lot of enjoyment and thrills from my st,and i know the extra power is allways there as for me useing it for track days i dont think i would but hey thats only my opinion.

ST seem to have the best chassie in her category (150 BHP) after there more expensive car like the new Clio 197, or a second hand clio 182 cup! seem to be very good as well! after there also the Focus ST,Focus RS used, Megane RS mazda MPS and after there all those japonnese cars for track like eco or scooby!

yep ive always had track cars and the two newer ones i think are the way to go bang for buck are the st and civic type r. but ive had a type r so i think its st all the way! japs are out of the question iv had most jap cars and they are too time consuming and costly too use regular on track. and also not always fun on track because i found it hard to get a good string of laps together. big bhp and 4wd isnt always the way for a track car i found that out the hard way! iv decided on the st now for definate as ive started ordering the mods!!
just need to find one now!!

i reckon with the right tweeks to the suspension an st should carry real corner speed aswell so itl be interesting to see!

To be honest the ST is a good track car in my opinion, i went on the nurburgring, and it grips and grips. But if you only want it for the track there are faster cheaper cars about. Maybe Consider a clio cup, i think its lighter and my mate had one which is considerably faster than my ST. If it was for every day use on the other hand i would choose the ST any day. Just my opinion.

thats true mate but it looks like crap the clio. in my opinion of course. itl im not going for fastest its most reliable and fun im after
