Think I am leaning towards performance blue, I want the stripes down the side (not sure about the full ones). I am looking for the new shape. Just a case of waiting for the insurance money then i will be able to order one. ooh i cant wait.

I wouldnt mind a second hand one, but needs to be a 06 registration and little miles on it (delivery miles or something like that). Been looking in the local ford dealerships and they say they can order me one (no-one has a blue one on the forecourt). How long have you had yours. Do you think that it is crazy buying second hand - i was just thinking of the depreciation when buying brand new, and thought it would be better buying "nearly" new.

Just waiting for the important call (insurance) and I will be down to the garage straight away, due to my saxo being modified it takes them longer to give a price. The only problem is I would want all the extras if I was buying new £ £ £. The prices for new ones that I have seen are about £11,500.

Thanks ChirsCumbria.
It was a VTR, full stainless steel exhaust, K&N induction kit, EBC discs and pads, full kit, all smoothed, flushed tailgate, headlight conversion, 17" Wheels (luckily my chrome ones were stored in the garage for winter), lowered, bucket seats, full install in alcantara leather, with pioneer head unit. Probably more stuff that i have forgotten to mention.
I was talking about selling it in the summer and buying an ST, its just happening sooner than i thought. I wanted something quicker.

Thanks Iceman. I will do that I didnt think i would get one for less than £11,500. The ones with 1000 miles on them were 10 and a half. So its definetly worth a look around!

What garage is that, all the used ones that I have been looking at are that price. It would be fantastic to find a new one at 10495
I'm near glasgow, but I go up North to my caravan in the highlands about an hour away from inverness.

Well thats a sore point! I was told that they would take my modifications into account - what a joke. they added 400 to the book price for all those mods. So i am arguing with them, i printed of pics from the net showing how much they are selling for same spec as mine (roughly) and pics and mag features proving that it was a show car. so I will be expecting a call on monday. n to make it worse the girl is fighting it (cant get my st until its over) its perfectly clear that it was not my fault i was on the roundabout n she must have been going to fast (she couldnt have seen me, NEVER EVEN BRAKED!) Rant over lol
