just bought a new st the other day and i feel the radio reception is s**te i dont stay in the city but i can hardly pick up radio 1

anyone else had this problem ?

Not really, in fact, radio 1 on my system is the strongest of them all.

But i am from the Midlands which might make a difference on reception.

When i went to Scotland for my hols a couple of years back, my wifes mobile was fine, but mine was emergency numbers only; so i think it all depends on where you are at the time.

never had any trouble with the reception.......maybe you have and ariel fault?

don,t have a problem with reception,that said i never have radio one on not even pre set try doing a scan and see what stations come on,hope i am not trying to tell you to suck eggs.could mean a trip back to dealer to get it checked out.

No haven't had any problems with mine, in fact I find its good enough to get really clear reception of the Isle of Man stations even though I live the other side of the water.

no mine is fine mate (about the only thing that is).

Take it to the dealer and make sure the arial is not slipping in the back of the head unit!

u can get 2 the aerial thro the side of the glove box and it seems to be attached fine not sure about the roof side im gonna take it back in this week for them 2 check it out

Turn AFC to auto in the menu, you may be trying to pick up the wrong radio 1 for your area.
Could be an "old" signal you're picking up.
What year was the Golden Hour this morning????
