did a foolish thing last night folks,i locked my put it to bed on drive as you do but i foolishly left the tailgate unlocked and open (ajar) all night i am surprized the alarm never went off i noticed it this morning when i got in and it said door open on lcd display....what a plonka.

If you leave a door ajar the alarm doesnt activate to avoid it going off inadvertently. it is easily done though. good job noone did try to get into it.

I got in a right mood with mine a few weeks back when I was setting my Clifford alarm as kept bleeping 3 times and flashing lots (normally it does 2 bleeps when it sets) eventually went back towards the car and found I had not closed the tailgate.......doh

I know if u not close or door properly then the car doesn't lock up! u know with the warning flashing differentely!So maybe the car was open all night!

That's a point.. if you had pressed the lock button twice on your key, to deadlock your car etc, the hazards should have flicked twice. They don't when any door (including the boot) is still open. I use that to double check everything is closed. Tut tut!
