Hi LittleLegs..

Your site appears to be down?

Is there any other way I could maybe get hold of this spreadsheet you have made?

Cheers

It all seems to be ok .... you need java so the password box comes up (winxp doesnt come with java as standard anymore you have to download it from sun)
I can always email it to you if thats easier ... drop me a pm with your address.

I think I have worked this out correctly....

The tank is roughly 40 Litres to fill.
I spend 80.9p a Litre most the time.
Thats 40 x 0.809 = £32.36 to fill up roughly.

4.45 UK Litres = 1 UK Gallon? (I think)

Thats 40/4.45 = roughly 8.99 Gallons.

I am getting about 250 Miles from my full tank all town driving which works out to be about....

250/8.99 = 27.81 MPG

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong anywhere!!

Thanks

Chris

Sounds about right, Birty, particularly if all your driving is on the urban cycle.

God, where do you live to get petrol at 80.9p a litre though?! I thought the 84/85p I generally pay was cheap. The last time I filled up (yesterday) I managed to squeeze about 42 litres in, cost me about £36.50 including the egg and bacon sandwich I bought at the time... I'm gonna use the mileage calculator on the other thread to see what mpg I'm doing, I expect it to be around 32mpg with a mix of mostly town but some motorway driving.
