We received this appeal and I thought it prudent to post it here too. This **** needs to be caught...

On Saturday 3rd February 2007 at around 2.15am a Fatal road collision occurred on the North Circular Road, NW11 (Henley’s Corner). Involved was a male pedestrian and a blue car that failed to stop and was last seen driving south along the A1. We do not have a registration number for the vehicle.

With the invaluable help of two members of Alperton Ford’s we have been able to establish that the vehicle was a Performance Blue Ford Fiesta ST150, the door mirror assembly fitted to the vehicle is dated between 10th January 2005 to 5th October 2005.

The vehicle has sustained serious damage. The parts that we have been able to identify are:

1. Section of front offside bumper: Part No.1342395
2. Front Spot Light: Part No. 1209177
3. Headlight glass:
4. Towing eye cover: Part No. 1214013
5. Front offside Jacking point cover: Part No. 1354162
6. Front Offside door mirror assembly: Part No. 1387001
7. Front offside door mirror cover: part No. 1331459
8. Front Offside Bumper deflector (with front spot lamps) Part No. 1346175
9. Mirror Glass: Part No. 1379776
10. Spot Lamp: Part no. 1209177
11. Bezel for spot light (Silver coloured): Part No. 1343906
12. Outer light grey Bezel for spot light: Part No. 1343237
13. Offside outer finishing moulding: Part No. 1434550
14. Front offside stone deflector: Part No. 1342369

As can be seen the damage appears to be front offside and along the offside of the vehicle. There is also a possibility that the bonnet, front offside wing, driver’s door, windscreen and other damage may also be present.

If a Ford Fiesta ST should be brought in for repair, or a large order of parts be received for a Ford Fiesta ST please could you ring me on 07920 831 902 as soon as possible.

If a driver should attend a repair centre for a quote etc then please deal with them in your normal way. If you could then obtain a registration number and keeper details that would assist us immensely.

I would appreciate if you could forward this email onto your Accident Repair Manager and Parts Manager for their information.

You may also have contacts, other body shops etc, that we don't have and I would be grateful if you could forward this email onto them as well.

Apparently one of our members has already been contacted and his car looked over by the police so I don't think this is some weird kind of wind up. I just can't understand why...

this sound very serious indeed!! some people always push it to far!

No way, thats mad. I hope it doesn't involve anyone from on here. I wouldn't have thought anyone here would be that stupid to do that.

I would hope not Ben but if they did I suggest they go down the Police station and confess else they will:

1. drive themselves silly and insane
2. get found out in the end

You never really know Ben. Panic can make people do the stupidest of things.

at that time of the morning and not stopping i would say drink was involved arseholes,any decent human being would have stopped no matter whos fault hope they through away the key...

There are unconfirmed reports that the police have someone in custody.

Will have to wait and see obviously, but IF they have caught the person responsible then that is good news and hope they get what they deserve.
