Well chaps, my pipercross filter turned up today... bigboy benji, £39.10 delivered from pumabuild.

Well i can certainly tell you it has made a difference. It is def more responsive thats for sure. and it is also deeper at lower revs and growls at higher revs. Not as loud as a full induction kit but it has made a difference! Money well spent IMO

It is certainly something i am now thinking of. As for the just under £40 its pretty damn good. There is a K&N filter or a pipercross filter. Is there any real difference, one better than the other? and are they really easy to fit, as i am really thick when it comes to this sort of stuff!

From experience I would recommend the Pipercross as I had the K&N panel in my old Focus and it caused me alot of problems and so did the K&N on my Capri come to mention it!!
Go with the Pipercross, for the money you won't be dissappointed.

K and N filters are the leading manufactures of performance air filters. If you put one on your capri and had problems then Im guessing you prob had carbs? If so Im under the impression they would need to be slightly tuned to allow for the new ratios of air flow.

And yes Im chuffed with my Pipercross, but dont expect a major diff, its a subtle mod.
