It's got a knackered catalyst (A new one is still on order) so i'd say about 120 absolute max

BHP doesnt give you the power, torque does

bhp and torque both give power gains.
torque gives more pulling power, hence turbo diesels go really well up hills. furthermore, torque gives power lower down the rev range so you dont need to drop a gear fly if you have a car with lots of torque.
there aint no point in having a car with lots of bhp and very little torque, for example my bros rx8. it has more than enough bhp but you have to rev the flipping out of it to get it to respond. i doesnt really move that well at 3000rpm in 4th or 5th gear but more torque would sort that out giving more power lower down the rev range.

What ST racer is pretty much right.
Torque gives nothing on its own. Torque is a measurement of how much force a revolution of the Pistions in the engine is making. This is measured in lb/ft or Nm, notice theyre are both a figure of Force.
Power is relevant to torque and Revs. To gain power, you need to know RPM and torque figure at that RPM.
Alot of people mistake torque for "pulling power" but this is not true. Torquey cars tend to have peak torque low down in the revs, whereas non-torquey cars tend to have it high up. Examples of this are the CTR, Clio 172, (and dare i say it - the VTS, lol) etc.
Now, the reason why people think toque is pulling power, is because you dont need to have the car revving its bollocks off to gain most of its power. Because the peak torque is lower down, e.g. 3000 revs, that means that - because power is a relation of torque and revs - the power is high early too.
E.g. A car (Car A) that produces 150lb/ft @ 3000 and 150bhp @ 5000 vs a car (Car B) that produces 120lb/ft @ 5000 and 160bhp @ 6500.
If both cars are driven properly when racing (i.e. car A about about 3500rpm and car B kept above 5000rpm), Car B will be the quicker of the 2 assuming theyre are both the same weight and dimensions etc.
But if they are both driven from 40mph and accelerate in 5th gear Car A will easily beast Car B because it gets its power lower down. The only time B with start to catch is above about 100mph because it will start to come into its power band.
If the torque figures are the same at all rpms in pre and post facelift, there will be flipping all difference in power.

Exactly. A winch can have massive torque, being able to pull several tonnes, but only very slowly. It's not got a lot of power, so would not be up to propelling a car quickly.
