Hi guys,

My arived at the dealer today! Great news of course, however when I went to have a look, I'm considering to have customized stripes on it. The car is in magnum grey and I'm thinking of putting moondust silver stripes on it that are also smaller as the standard ones. (half the width). I'm still doubting and I have to decide before the teflon coating is put on. So let me know your opinion if you like.

First pics of the magnum grey.. moondust is a great color to combinate with when you do want stripes but thin stripes over the bonnet and roof won't be as nice i think.
In the end, i would leave it stripeless

I haven't got pics of my car yet since it's still at the dealer. However to give you an idea what I'm thinking about:

The magnum grey is slightly darker though

Hmmm... I think that might be a really nice idea actually. Striped, yet understated

I dont know about thinner stripes... wouldn't look right if you was ever to pull up against another or if anyone ever saw an then yours.

Ford Stripes or No Stripes i think except if your having custom stripes in another colour but the same size.

I'm not that sure about the magnum grey look, it just doesn't stand out enough for me, although as you say Black Pearl it would look better with bigger stripes.

After seeing a Zetec S with thin stripes today iv totally gone of the idea of them... Thick looks better any day... would be interesting to see this style tho as its alot more subtle than white!!! Interesting

Great picture pooh,

I'm almost sorry to tell you that I did not go for the stripes. Just plain magnum grey for me. Also I have to agree that it looks better with bigger stripes.

By the way, what happened to the right fog light on that showroom model?
