I was just wondering if anyone has used a ford touch up stick on their ST? Over the past few months I hace acquired a couple of ugly large bonnet and bumper stone chips and was wondering if I can get rid of these on the cheap without it looking c**p. thanks.
Also whilsat on the M6 a large "rock" hit my windscreen and scuffed it, is there any way I can get rid of this. Appreciate the advice. thanks folks.

just to let you know that I have a solid colour (frozen white), so I don't know whether this makes any difference or not. Thanks

I've used the Ford touch up stick on my car. I've got some whopping great stone chips on my car too, some are actual guages out of the metal on the bonnet which I've covered up to prevent rust etc. Let's just say you can tell I did it but I dont care because my car wont rust!

If you are confident with some wet & dry sandpaper then yes you can do it on the cheap but I'm not.

Yeah, i've used the Performance blue stick which cost about £7. The colour match is good but it does'nt stick very well. I've had to use a small dab of white primer to make it stay when i had two down the the primer.

Yes I bought a Diamond White touch-up stick and the colour is pretty awful. An off-white colour (beige???)Don't know if there are different types of sticks but mine only cost about £3.

I would never use it again though!

It does'nt sound like a Ford one, probably a Hycote but white is a difficult colour to match properly.
