You're not wrong, the styling is not to my exact taste but in black it does look pretty sexy from most angles.
It can be chipped to 230bhp though without affecting the warranty and they don't mind an exhaust and induction kit being fitted on top of that! I drove a standard one and was so impressed. I didn't quite like the rake of the front window or the never ending feeling of the dash, but when you start to drive it none of that matters. The brakes and driving position and the growl of the VTEC are just something to behold.
Here's a claim though - for a normally aspirated lump pushing out 200-230bhp in standard trim they Honda have never had a VTEC engine fail. That's mental.
I am sorely tempted, especially as they don't seem to understand the rules of depreciation. My dream car at the moment is a Mk1 Elise in Metallic Green, cream leather with the 2.0 VTEC engine fitted. [drool]
