thats true, i know that with elephant unless u stay with them, then they wont give proof of the ncb that u think u have rcvd!!!

10 month accelerators are only worth ncb points with the company u have got them with, best to stick to the 12 month or go somewhere else

Maybe I was just lucky with elephant, but when they sent me my renewal notice after 10 months I was listed as having one years ncb, which I took elsewhere.
If other people are having probs though its maybe best to avoid these accelerator thingys if poss.

not sure how old gadgeteer is i thought i was ancient at nearly 50 but it does have its advantages when it comes to insurance £287 including free hire car. my first fast ford bought in 1973(well it was at the time) was a mark 1 gt cortina dont see many of them about now the insurance was crippling
