Hi all, first post here! Finally got my ST; it is a top car, as you are of course all aware! Only issue I have at the moment is it drinks petrol like I don't know what! But still its all good fun

dam! that was a quick succession of responses! It's in performance blue, with the blue interior and it has privacy glass. I did order parking sensors originally but they messed up the order and forgot to put them on - I am glad to be honest! I kind of wish I'd got the interior styling pack and its a bit of a nightmare trying to get some ST mats! No stripes and I probably won't bother with them, they do look good but attracts extra attention! I like it as it is for now!

Hi there. Welcome to the site. You should go back to the dealer and say that you specified the parking sensors and you want them to fit them for you free of charge. They can be added as an accessory once you've got the car.
How are you finding it other than it's drinking addiction?

Hi there, welcome to the site!

When I got my ST they forgot to fit the MP3 connection, but I took it to my local Allen Ford and got them to fit it free of charge (although it did take them 3/4 attempts!)

Also managed to get some standard Fiesta mats and awaiting some ST mats when they eventually get them in stock - which are also courtesy of Allen Ford!

Well I bought it through a website so it doesn't seem to be that easy! But to be honest I was only getting them cos my girlfriend was goign to be driving it but now she's got her own little runaround so my car is safer :P

Yeah I'm finding it great mate, plenty of power, its a bit addictive so I'm having to try and stop myself from driving it all the time!!

I got mine through a website as well, but the cost of all the parts/labour was covered by the Ford dealer the website ordered it from - seeing as it was their mistake. It is a pain trying to sort it out though

Glad you're enjoying it

Oh yeah? I've been forwared on to Allen Ford now to sort out the other little prolbems! I did get the mp3 connector ok, but they forgot to send me my second remote key and I have no manual! and I am still waiting for my log book, but I can probably blame the dvla for that!

Just a question, apart from the privacy glass my car should be pretty standard, the centre console is a dark grey / black colour but on either side, ie over the steering wheel side and the passenger airbag side, it is a dark dull blue colour - I swear the one in the dealer didn't have that! Is that standard or have they messed that up too!?

No, that's the colour dash you get with the blue half leather seats. That is normal. Do you not like it?

lol yeah that's the one!

I don't remember seeing it when I viewed and test drove the car, its not that bad but I think I prefer the standard trim! its not a great blue! I'm just pleased its normal tho, what with delays and specification cock ups I had had enough! I'm glad its here and almost pleased its burning up my money!

It maybe did have it all the same colour for the whole dash in the one you test drove, as if you go for the full leather seats then it is an option to not have the coloured dash.

You can get the non coloured dash regardless of whether you have half leather or full leather. You cannot get the red dash on the ST though. Only Blue or Grey.

I'm going to have to throw a spanner in here mate and correct you. With the ST you have a choice of the red seats, the blue seats and the full leather (black seats). With the red seats you only get a grey dash, with the blue seats you only get a blue dash and with the leather seats you get a choice of the blue or grey dash.

Reading back what youve written and what ive written I think it may be may now thats got it wrong. You basically right, except that with the blue seats you can't have the grey dash, only the blue.

Time for me to shut up

Just dug my brochure out to try and find the definitive answer...

Red ST - leather, grey dash; non-leather, grey dash.
White, silver or black ST - leather, grey or blue dash; non-leather, grey or blue dash.
Blue ST - leather, grey or blue dash; non-leather, blue dash.
