Hello, does anybody know any kind of remedy for stopping my stripes being chipped from stones? cheers adamsT

Apart from driving at 5mph all the time, I can't think of any!

lol oh well, worth a try eh! haha. thanks mate.

Really what you want it a clear layer of something to put over the top of the stripes, which might protect them to an extent.

BTW, are you on about OTT or side stripes?

Well i have both but the chips are in the obvious place, the bonnet. yeah maybe a clear film strip would do. cheers mate

This is what you need. Pricey but one day I'll get it done.

mmnn. pricey but.

Pricey but worth it probably haha

Yeah, but how much are new stripes?...... the stripes are doing exactly the same thing as the paint shield; putting a layer inbetween the stone and your paint.

get a car bra if you are bothered about bonnet chips.. + they look awesome :P

drive round with a car cover on just with a hole for the windscreen lmao

Funny you should join this thread craig, have you sorted the stone chips on your bonnet stripes?

And you want to tell the nice people how you got them?!

yeah or i could just drive around with a car cover on lol
